A self-sealing protective cap for greater hygiene
The hygienic protective cap plays an important role in our cream pump dispenser. It reliably prevents the product from drying out and/or becoming contaminated by protecting it against the effects of air, other particles and moisture. This ensures that the packaging always remains aesthetically pleasing, the product has a longer shelf life and the quality standards of your cream are maintained, which in turn ensures longer usability and greater cost-effectiveness. Thanks to its self-sealing mechanism, the protective cap automatically closes again after each use. This prevents impurities or germs from penetrating the product and ensures optimum hygiene, which is particularly important for the pharmaceutical industry and and any topical products like creams and ointments within the OTC market. High Viscosity Dispenser System (HVDS)
Thanks to the vacuum pump technology used, the dispenser can also be used for highly viscous and heavy media. These types of media, such as ointments or creams with a high viscosity, often pose a major challenge for conventional pump dispensers. Due to the resistance of the viscous medium, cavities can easily form in the medium during pumping, which can lead to a sudden decrease in pumping performance. This effect may influence customer satisfaction and the usage experience of your product. To solve this particular issue, JOMA relies on using a vacuum pump system. Such a system operates on the principle of negative pressure. A vacuum is generated, which attracts the medium and pushes it down through the follower plate in the dispenser. As a result, the resistance of the medium is overcome and the product is dispensed evenly.

Placed directly on top of the content, the follower plate prevents unwanted air intake and transports liquid and highly viscous substances evenly through the dip tube. The follower plate fits snugly against the container wall and hygienically protects the contents from drying out.
Integrated dual tamper evident protection
The integrated double tamper protection is a key safety feature of our cream dispenser with system. Both the pump and the container of the dispenser are tamper-evident, thus ensuring perfect product quality and the first-opening guarantee. A combined locking and sealing technology is used to protect against tampering and unauthorized opening. This protection is easy for older end users to handle, as they only need to remove the tamper-evident closure from the dispenser neck with one hand.
Adjustable output
The output quantity can be regulated as needed with three adjustable positions of the pump head. A perceptible click confirms output selection to the end user.
