1. Pressing the airless pump creates a vacuum that draws the product upward through the integrated dip tube.
2. Inside the pump dispenser is a sealing component developed by JOMA—the follower plate. It moves with the product and continuously adjusts to the falling fill level, preventing air from entering from above.
This vacuum pump system lets the container empty completely, even when filled with highly viscous products.

Quick and easy setup: filling and preparing the JOMA pump dispenser
The JOMA pump dispenser provides a quick, clean way to dispense highly viscous materials. Before using it for the first time, remove the integrated tamper-evident seal. Then prepare the dispenser as follows:
1. Fill the plastic container
Fill the JOMA Securibox® to the maximum permitted level, making sure that no air is trapped inside.
2. Insert the follower plate
Position the follower plate so that it remains in continuous contact with the product and prevents air from being drawn in.
3. Insert the dip tube and attach the dispenser
Guide the dip tube through the center of the follower plate, place the dispenser on the plastic container, and check that it clicks securely into place.
4. Unlock and prime the dispenser head
Before first use, turn the dispenser head to the start position and pump several times until product is dispensed.
